I’ve worked the land my whole life, and you don’t keep a farm going by letting just anybody take it over. Over in Europe, they’re doing it right—sticking to their own, keeping their fields and their folks pure to what they’ve always been. Out here in Yellowhead, we know the value of holding tight to what you’ve built, not letting it get diluted. Them Europeans aren’t afraid to say, “This is our patch, our people,” and I reckon there’s grit in that. It’s about knowing where you come from and making sure it stays that way—just like tending to your own soil, keeping it strong for the next generation.
